    _{Of Stars and Clans is a group loosely based off of the Warriors series by Erin Hunter.
    Long ago, the clans of Aspen, Tidal, and Ragged moved to the oceanside after the destruction of their former home. When the cats began to lose faith in their warrior ancestors, the starry felines descended from the heavens and opened two portals on the landscape; one to StarClan and the other to the dreaded Dark Forest. The deceased spirits roamed the land of the living for a time, but then the Calamity struck.
The portals to StarClan and the Dark Forest were destroyed and the clans' warrior ancestors with them. Lava and great waves surged over the land and great fissures appeared in the ground, claiming cats all over. With the Calamity came the Ashen; monsters created from what were once normal animals fused with the evil energies of the Dark Forest. Cats struggled to survive as they trudged across the desolate landscape, separated from their friends and family.
    A year after the apocalypse, Hopflight and Lynxtail, with the last of StarClan's remaining energies created Safe Haven, a pure home to help shelter the last of those living who hope to help the cats in their plight to take the world back from the Ashen.
    Safe Haven is calm, but not all is as peaceful as one might think. Cats from different backgrounds clash over their differences; The Pilgrims of Light, cats who believe that all evil must be vanquished to bring the Earth back to her formal state, the ferocious Skinner's Gang, a group of bloodthirsty cats who kill other cats and wear their pelts, the Clan cats who still long to uphold the warrior code and devote their lives to their ancestors, the Rogues, who lived their lives alone and have difficulty melding into the group, the Kittypets, cats who once lived soft lives with human housefolk, and Darklings, cats who had been tainted by the energies of the Dark Forest but were reawakened from their Ashen state by the Call to Safe Haven.
    The cats of Safe Haven now devote their lives to their progression so that they may one day restore the world to what it once was...}

    Happy (almost) one year anniversary to OfStarsAndClans! July 11th was the day OSAC officially opened up to all of us. For nearly a year, OSAC has been growing slowly as a role-playing community that I'm glad to be a part of. There are so many skilled writers and artists within this group and I've made some amazing friends during my time playing Littlestep, Mjolnir and Bathsheba. To those of you who have been part of our community: keep on rocking. We hope that you will enjoy what's to come in the future. And to those who have yet to join: take your time. There's plenty of it.
    Here's to another year! Let's keep inspiring each other!

    Day 10: Colored Swiftstep, Oathspirit, Larkreed, Ebonyfeather, Featherfall, Wolftail, Palepelt, Smokepetal, Tawnymask, Silentstep, Rainheart, Solarstride, Duskpaw, Vixenpaw, Minkpaw, Silverpaw, Ashenpaw, Firpaw, Aloepaw, Pebblepaw, Crimsonpaw, Robinpaw, Shiverpaw, Weedkit, Tigerpaw, Flightpaw, Mintpaw, Sealpaw, Echopaw, Snowbelle, Aeron, Mjolnir, and the Skinner. Added visual effects.
